Credits are the unit Fluenta uses to meter resource-intensive actions like Idea X-Ray runs and Signal runs. Think of them like a data plan: your subscription includes a monthly allowance, and you can top up if you need more.

What costs credits

  • Idea X-Ray run — ~2,000 credits. This is the expensive one: it hits all 25 live data integrations.

  • Signal run — varies by scope. A focused keyword signal costs less than a broad sector scan.

  • Idea browsing, filtering, and card viewing — free. You never spend credits to explore.

Monthly plan allowances

| Plan | Monthly credits | X-Ray runs | Price | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Free | 1,000 (one-time) | — | $0 | | Starter | 3,000 | ~1 | $9/mo | | Builder | 8,000 | ~4 | $19/mo | | Team | 20,000 | ~10 | $49/mo |

Monthly credits reset at the start of each billing cycle. Unused monthly credits do not roll over.

Credit top-ups

Need more runs? Buy credits anytime. Top-up credits never expire and stack on top of any subscription credits.

| Top-up | Credits | X-Ray runs | Best for | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | $7 | 2,000 | 1 run | Try one idea | | $15 | 5,000 | 2 runs | Compare two ideas | | $39 | 15,000 | 7 runs | Weekly validation | | $99 | 45,000 | 22 runs | Best value — team sprints |

Order of consumption

When you run an X-Ray, Fluenta burns credits in this order:

  1. Monthly subscription credits first (so they don't waste at reset)

  2. Top-up credits second (they have no deadline)

What if I run out mid-month?

You'll see a banner at Idea X-Ray. You can either upgrade your plan for instant access, or buy a Basic/Extended pass — both options top you up immediately.
